Nick Kelly

Nick’s first short Delphine (2003), described by the Evening Herald as “one of the best Irish movies of the past decade”, was selected for numerous festivals and broadcast in 13 countries worldwide. Nick’s first feature The Drummer And The Keeper premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh in July 2017, where it won Best Irish First Feature.

Having qualified as a lawyer (and given up his legal career that day) Nick’s working life has largely been devoted to creative and artistic endeavours. He is a Clio-winning advertising creative, awarded for his 2002 Guinness spot “Tom Crean”.

Nick is also a Choice Music Prize-nominated musical artist and an Ian St. James Award-winning short fiction writer. Having spent a decade in New York and London, Nick now lives back in his native Ireland with his wife and two young sons.

Daniel Franklin, Ph.D., is the author of Helping Your Child with Language-Based Learning Disabilities: Strategies to Succeed in School & Life with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, ADHD & Processing Disorders (New Harbinger Publications, 2018).  He is a Board Certified Educational Therapist and has over 30 years of experience in education as a teacher, administrator, and consultant. He is the founder and president of Los Angeles-based Franklin Educational Services, Inc., which provides a wide range of individualized school support services for students of all ages and needs.

His credits include the 30 for 30 short I am Yu’pik, ESPN’s Emmy-nominated Run Mama Run, and Joel Berlinger’s Killing Richard Glossip. He is the editor and story producer of The Unconditional.

Gail Williamson never imagined when her son Blair received a diagnosis of Down syndrome that he would lead her into an unprecedented career. While Blair’s acting resume grew he introduced his mother to the entertainment industry; there Gail recognized the value of inclusive images and what they taught society. Gail has since dedicated her career to changing public opinion one role at a time.

Gail shares her vision with others by serving on industry panels, speaking to groups in the media or disability industries as well as participating as a consultant to many organizations, individuals and productions.

In 2018 Gail was honored with the Media Access Awards’ NORMAN LEAR/GERI JEWELL LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD. She has received many other honors over the years, but maybe most impressive was her honor in 1999 as the NATIONAL MOTHER OF THE YEAR, from American Mother’s Inc, the Congressional named U.S. sponsor of Mother’s Day.

Dave Adams is a Brooklyn-based director and cinematographer. He started his career working for National Geographic Television & Film in Washington, DC. He served as cinematographer for the Vimeo Staff Pick short documentary “DCDC” and as the co-director/cinematographer for the feature length investigative documentary “The Wrong Light.”

Anthony Sherin

Anthony is an award-winning filmmaker whose short film, SOLO, PIANO – NYC, was selected as one of the outstanding photo projects of today by Look3 Festival of the Photograph 2013, and was featured in the New York Times’ Op-Docs Series. In 2016 Rooftop Films selected SOLO, PIANO for its screening of the best of 20 years of New York nonfiction. His documentary UNTEACHABLE is currently screening at film festivals.

His feature documentary, ORIGINAL INTENT: The Battle for America, aired on PBS in 2009. DUÆL: Lee + Man, a collaboration with artist Tabitha Vevers, premiered at the Zimmerli Art Museum, Rutgers University, NJ in 2014 and is opening at the Fitchburg Art Museum, MA in 2017.

Anthony is also an accomplished film editor whose credits include ONE YEAR LEASE, best short documentary Tribeca Film Festival 2014, and official selection at Sundance Film Festival 2015. His feature film credits include THE CURE (Universal), A SOLDIER’S SWEETHEART (Paramount), and FIRST TIME FELON (HBO).

international competition.

In the Year 2000, Kevin attempted to take his life by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. Many factors contributed to his miraculous survival including a sea lion which kept him afloat until the Coast Guard arrived. Kevin now travels the world sharing his story of hope, healing, and recovery while teaching people of all ages the art of wellness & the ability to survive pain with true resilience.

Currently, Kevin is in pre-production of his new Docu Series The Journey, and is working on a comic book version of his life in cosmic & supernatural form called Hope Dealers. His fight has been long and arduous, but he is determined to remain committed to life until its natural end.

América is directed, produced and edited by Erick Stoll & Chase Whiteside, with Stoll additionally serving as cinematographer.

In 2018, Stoll and Whiteside were featured in Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Independent Film. Together, they co-founded the political web series New Left Media, which documented conservative and progressive movements during the Obama presidency; and co-directed the short Lifelike, a dispassionate reconstruction of the taxidermic process that premiered at True/False and won Best Doc Short at DocuFest Atlanta.
