No one at Camp Jened could’ve imagined that those summers in the woods together would be the beginnings of a revolution. Just down the road from Woodstock, Camp Jened was a camp for disabled teens. Directors Nicole Newnham and Jim LeBrecht (a former Jened camper himself) deliver a rousing film about a group of campers turned activists who shaped the future of the disability-rights movement and changed accessibility legislation for everyone.

COVID-19 HEALTH & SAFETY
Some of the 2021 ReelAbilities Film Festival events will take place in person. To help protect the health and safety of audiences, artists, staff, and our greater community, patrons are required to complete MSU Hawk Check (https://bit.ly/2Xz4Co5), wear masks at all times for all film screenings and panel discussions and all events will require proof of full vaccination to attend.
Audience members will be asked to show proof of vaccination before entering the theater. Accepted forms for proof of vaccination include a physical vaccine card with your name on it, or on your mobile phone a digital photo of your vaccine card, or the record of your vaccination displayed via the approved state app Docket, or another official vaccine record. If you are feeling unwell, experiencing any COVID-related symptoms, or come into close contact with someone who has COVID-19 up to 14 days before an event, please stay home. These guidelines may evolve depending on health and safety recommendations.
